Challenge:
Wells Fargo/Norwest Mortgage wanted to create a website for external brokers
to submit mortgage loan applications and check their status. Creating
this site would make the application process easier for its broker network
and thus drive more business and improve business relations. Norwest also
set tight time and budget constraints for completing the website development
and deployment.
Solution:
Network Effects consultants, using the approaches embodied in our methodology
and application development services, managed the design requirements
managed the website development project. The initial website was delivered
within four months of the requirements definition using leading edge agility
technologies such as iteration and incremental delivery methodologies.
Results:
Within five calendar months of initiating the development effort, WFN
deployed its first website for its broker network. Mortgage brokers were
able to check the status of loan applications electronically and manage
the applications through the process in a more timely and efficient manner.
As a result, the mortgage brokers we able to increase their volume of
business and maintain higher levels of customer satisfaction.
